YEAST attempts, through respectful intervention, keen parental involvement and attentive listening, to train teenage males, between 16 and 20 years. We seek to enable hope-drained individuals become agents of attitudinal and social change in a journey which leads to total human development. It empowers young people, who have become estranged from their communities, and who find themselves enmeshed in anti-social, illegal or violent activities, develop themselves as role models for the nation, and awaken to their true identity as images of the divine. Through the character development and skills training curriculum, young men are exposed to the abundant potential and inestimable value that they posess as children of God, thus initiating the process of transformation.
The YEAST Institute operates Monday through Friday; 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. for males 16 - 20 years. The school year runs from September to July. Tuition cost of $600.00 annually. This covers construction tools, craft supplies and transportation.
